Line and Thomas’ wedding
When I woke up this moring the sky was heavy with ominous, dark grey clouds. I’d been to Kolvereid to meet the wedding couple two days previous and explored “Norway’s smallest town” with them, looking for good spots for their portraits. We found loads of great options, often with histories attached for this couple who grew up here. But, it being an outdoorsy sort of place, there was not a lot of shelter to be had. As they say in these parts; “there’s no bad weather, only bad clothes”. Well, Line and Thomas did not have bad clothes, they had beautiful clothes, just not waterproof ones. Yet someone was clearly looking out for them today, because although the heavens did eventually open, it stayed dray and pleasant until we were finished with the portraits and settled comfortably inside with the rest of their warm guests. But the weather wasn’t the real story. Today was about a beautiful couple and their lovely family, who were joined by all their friends and family to celebrate their union. It’s late in the evening now so I will let the photos tell the story of this special day, and thank you for inviting me to be your photographer. You and your wonderful children are awesome!
